A residential quarter is being planned for the Berlin Spandau district: the core of the new quarter, which will have 500 residences, is a conglomerate of 16 buildings of all different types, ranging from a three-storey terrace to a ten-storey high-rise. The façades have been designed to suit the location, with weather-resistant facing brickwork to protect the buildings next to the shores. Cost-effective EIFS facades are being used for areas further from the water, designed to be consistent with the architecture in the neighbouring development. Two high-rise buildings will form landmarks and offer future residents an exclusive view over the nearby lakes.
